Green Man I was in HMV earlier (sadly the stuff I was after was not in stock) today after finishing work. I saw a lot of teenagers are buying classic albums on new vinyl.

Velvet Underground, The Stranglers, James Brown, and Iron Maiden seem to be popular choices.

80s music seems to be popular background music in most record shops.
JK2006 No surprise here. She always made great records (so did many of us in the 60s and 70s). Young people today are discovering how good our music was (and how limited the current music is). I bet BTS don't go to No1 in 40 years with any track, no matter which TV show it's used in.
