Was in France today.At Calais port there were lots of people and vehicles heading into the UK,from a number of countries.
Those alone must be bringing in some revenue to the UK.

I doubt the Tour de France has cost less than the Olympics and there is no white elephant.

IF it happens ! (Remember the Olympics were supposed to boost visitor numbers - yet the hotels complained they were quieter than normal !)
Must be cheaper, too, to simply run a "come to Yorkshire" advertising campaign !
