Surely it's a breach of human rights to deny someone's right to die

... and how many (desperate to get their hands on the cash?) will "encourage" their parents that the time has come ???

We should always protect the vulnerable.

(I understand that in Holland - where assisted killing was made legal - many now want the law reversed after some sensational instances)

Why it should be mandatory to draw up a will whilst in your 50's etc like parents did, my dad is not leaving anything to us he is giving all to charity.

Greedy siblings, partners and offspring should not be giving anything.

I am sure nobody would ever think you are greedy, Andrew, and I hope and suspect that your Dad is pulling your leg.

No he is not pulling my leg, dogs trust need it more than me.

We can already see how many people are slap-happy with others lives by the number of abortions, dogs whisked off for the one way trip to the vet the minute they need extra care, and the hoards of old people sent off to a miserable life of neglect in a home while their relatives pretend to us and themselves that it is "what they need"
