hedda doubt JK knew the late Vikki de Lambrey who plied his/her trade around Shepherds Market. Used to drive me insane but I'm a sucker.."come for a lovely champagne lunch at San Lorenzo"...I'd be there in a flash.

this was usually financed by pick-pocketing her cUstomers but alas- it all came unstuck when she lifted the wallet of a client who was the retired head of MI6 and a huge scandal erupted.

Vikki loved it and then claimed she was having it off with the Russian Naval Atache (probably sent home and executed)...tabloids trembled with excitement.

3 years later Vikki phoned the Press Association- as one does when dying- to say "men from MI5 have broken in and have injected me". She was dead soon after (sadly predicted by me to her if she kept inflaming the scandal..champagne lunches stopped after that.)

It's claimed Vikki was writing a book and had a 'dossier' of over 900 names of prominent establishment folk who had dabbled in all manner of illicit sex & drugs.

naturally...the dossier was missing.
