We had the same "keep them out" protest over West Indians (when London Transport actually encouraged them to come and man the buses and tubes).
We've had it over Jews
The Irish
Pakistanis and Indians
... and NOT ONE OF THEM can say what will happen to the NHS if foreigners were removed LOL !

Just for the record............there is no right or wrong answer to immigration, just views and opinions........
And I'd like to put it on record here that the opinion that multi culturalism, mass and free immigration and 100% respect and acceptance of ALL immigrants in the UK should be tolerated.........is arguable from an anti immigration stand point
We immigration rules and laws, like them or not, they are in place. Not ALL immigrants should be in the UK, if they are found to be illeagal, why do we even debate their legality based on time lapse and integration with families?
And for the Spanish Civil War analogy...............I don't buy it. Can anyone point me to an historical reference that any Spanish Civil War volunteer returned to their own country and created plots of terrorism? or pleadged to harm their own countries internal security systems? or harm the internal structure of the UK Government? I'm open to offers.
While the UK is hand wringing itself into a Liberal froth about immigration, we are losing the overall picture of the future society that, I suggest 'the silent majority' would ultimately like to see in the next 20 years....... Its an opiniom, it is right, it isn't wrong.
BUT PLEASE ALSO ACCEPT THAT SUPPORT FOR IMMIGATION AND MULTI CULTURALISM IS ALSO NOT RIGHT OR WRONG, ITS JUST ANOTHER OPINION. |
