About the Harris case? I'd say do it.

Funny how it takes courage to report a crime to the police. It does. But that alone tells you something.

How much courage did it really take his accusers, I wonder?
John Marsh As girl not pixelled out I now assume she is of age so I can say that her aka "Ruby the Heart Stealer" is apt.
John Marsh There are quite a number of things out of sync with justice in the Italian system in that a person can be held in prison with little pretext and one is not allowed to criticpse the police or court etc amongst other things. And they do have a long drawn out process. Another aspect is that the system lacks independence.
But as can be seen from the Berlusconi trials they do have an excellent appeals system. The UK system is very selective and almost exclusively on a point of law and not on reviewing the evidence and previous court. Do not believe anything about the appeal system in the UK. It is ruthless and little to no justice in the appeal system in the UK. Secondly you will notice that the Itlian court will release the document showing the evidence and how they reached their decision. Once again in the UK the final decision by a jury of completely unknown people decides in secret. No transparency or accountability. No record of how they reached their decision on what evidence. I guess in the Rolf Harris case the time taken was to allow the dissenting jurors know that unless they agree with the bullies who believed everything and the majority of easily lead, they were to come back to get another barrage of verbal until they finally succumbed as the judge said they needed unanimous decision. My evidence that something like this happened is that there were only four accusers and their testimony clearly did not even reach civil court level of the balance of probabilities. A standard far lower than reasonable doubt. I am not even sure the jurors are advised any longer about innonence until proven guilty or beyond reasonable doubt. In fact I am in the process of trying to find the courage to lodge with the police that a possible crime of perverting the cause of justice has taken place.
JK2006 I've always liked him; he has real Italian character, a bit naughty but fun. Prefer him to dull Spoon Faced Cameron any day.
Gnomo I have to admire the Italians - www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/silvi...-shock-decision.html
