giles2008 Russell T Davies is working on other things.

Pru The thing I liked most by Moffat was a sitcom called 'Joking Apart'. If you haven't seen it I do recommend it.
JK2006 All the commentary seems to be on "Is Peter Capaldi any good as Dr Who?" which is totally unimportant. It's just another acting job (for the record I didn't like Tennant or Smith in the part but thought Ecclestone was brilliant). The crucial thing is - are the scripts and plots any good? Which, under Russell T Davies, they were. Under Moffat they are not.

I've never got the adult obsession with this show. Its hype is always treated as 'news' by the BBC, which is absolutely absurd. If it brings pleasure to some then that's great, but I resent how we're all supposed to be thrilled about it. It used to be a harmlessly silly little show but it's been hyped up into a monster.

Spot on Pru Doctor Who was aimed at kids to get them in science and it still looks like a kids show. Newsroom South East nearly did the whole the whole news Doctor Who themed when a lost episode was found.
The newsreaders were almost pissing themselves with excitement as the episode was filmed in Dover, then they said it was missing for some reason.

Well the BBC were notorious for junking and wiping over tapes something they never mention.
