'Nick Clegg has said he wants to find new ways to stop UK militants who fight in Iraq and Syria returning to Britain.'

Look who's playing catch up!

It's not what they win,but how it affects the other parties.

How ?

Ever heard of Dick Taverne ?

I have an 'A' grade A level in politics ITK,I am aware that occasionally people from outside the 2 main parties become MPS,even Winston Churchill supported his son against his own party at the '35 General...

...but while UKIP will get few seats under the British electoral system,if say they get 12-15% those are votes taken from the main parties at the last election.Depending on which parties they came from means those parties may easily loose seats as a result. An election can be won by just a few percentage points above the other main party.EG 1992,the tories got 41.9%,Labour 34.4%...Paddy the Bionic Pantsdown got 17.8%..
...this time The Libs will get around 10%,and UKIP about 15%,how those votes are spread could change who wins over half of the existing seats.

...Cameron and Milliband are both running scared of UKIP,more of a case of not what the system lets you make out of it,but what it allows you to destroy!......

As long as UKIP make Thanet a better place to live then they have done something.

But they won't !

One MP - if they win - will have NO influence at all on the local Council, who run the place.

I've noticed all the UKIP Twits & Facebookers (which doesn't mean all supporters) are pedo obsessives, Elm Guest House obsessives and believe there is an establishment / Masonic / Rothschild pedo conspiracy.

I see that the UKIP nutters are predicting "between 3 and 5 seats" at the General election !

That should worry the other 645 MPs !

Well said Pattaya, I remember when I was young Conservative I thought they could do no worse than Labour then I found out they are all exactly the same, Toffs have fucked this country up further and are using the same Labour tactics - get more immigrants in without prior checks and get more votes.
