hedda loved them.

"It’s official: Frankie are the most scandalous affront to decency since the Sex Pistols and the biggest band, Liverpudlian or otherwise, since the Beatles"

that sums up how tragic & revolting the Red Tops are.
their fans love them. Most music lovers enjoyed them.
those that didn't like them (possibly the majority) just ignore them.

But tabloids craft a whole other scenario- one that is not related in any way to the truth, some sort of confected outrage for the obvious reason to flog papers.

and who do politicians take notice of? the liars in the basest media who do not reflect the majority, unlike say a George Galloway who simply says "go f*ck yourselves " to them
K Great article, love the fact they linked to the early versions of the songs (saved me hunting them down!).

I remember hearing them for the first time, it was like nothing I'd ever heard before, not my kind of thing but still blew me away.

Trevor Horn, legend in his own lifetime, I still listen intently to Video Killed the Radio Star, such an amazing piece of work.
JK2006 Fascinating! Trevor Horn was and is a great producer.
