The parents come across as incredibly decent and normal. |

What a massive ballsup. CPS, hospital, police, media - all shit.
Not shit JK, utterly, utterly evil.
And now I hear that the poor parents could be tied up with Spain's odd legal system for weeks, if not months - despite being innocent and having this arrest warrant dropped! You could not make any of this up. |

Can someone please explain why this manhunt for the parents and poor boy has happened? No crime seems to have taken place. What on earth is going on?
I have no idea what they could have been thinking.
From what I understand, they had been told there is no hope for the poor boy, and the family would not accept this and took him abroad to seek better treatment. He was dying anyway, so what did it matter?
I'm guessing you're not a parent Honey?
Yes, I have five, and I would do exactly the same as these parents.
What does me having children have to do with me thinking that it is outrageous that the hospital wouldn't offer the treatment that might help, yet tried to deny him having it elsewhere?
The idea of letting someone watch their child die while knowing that another treatment might have worked is repulsive in my opinion.
Your original comment wasn't very specific and I misunderstood your viewpoint. Thanks for clearing that up.
Sorry Angel. It was my fault because it wasn't very clear. I had ranted too long, trimmed it and cut off the whole point.
Once I had got over being offended I could see what happened. |
