Spee32HR English monarchs haven't been elected for just over 800 years (since 1213).

In view of the current lack of talent, elections might well be a good idea.

Charles (the bloke 'in line') will probably be well over 70 before inheriting.

Not only the title - but all the land, wealth and status it goes with.

JK2006 I think these days age equals experience, often, especially in women who tend to live longer. Look at our Queen. If I were 100 percent American (as opposed to 50 percent) I'd vote for her.
Spee32HR After serving 2 terms, HC would be 80+

Unheard of in US history

In most (all?l western countries too

Running the richest and most powerful country on earth:-

is not like being top dog in the Vatican, where age matters...

hedda I disagree that Hilary is too old. She's younger than Trump..not by much..but she would only be 73 at the next election.

Considering she won the 3rd most popular vote in history (after Obama's 2 wins) if Trump continues the way he is she could be swept into power without a Bernie Sanders to rock the boat.

Remember while she got 3 million more votes than Trump the anti-Trump vote was nearly 75 million counting the Greens and one independent who has already said he won;t stand next time.

So that's well over 10 million more voters that didn't want Trump.

Whether she wants to is another thing but she looks pretty healthy to me.
Spee32HR H Clinton would be an even older US president than Reagan, if ever elected.

Not on the cards now - Trump (like him or not) had set a new agenda and style; mistakes, too few to mention - and largely to build the right team.

Calls a spade a spade, never tries to be what he's not - and has the US (and the world) - waiting, daily, for his next utterance.

Perhaps different - but not trying to copy other (similar) incumbents, like Ms May and her ilk.

Just like the young man who ran with a soccer ball, and created another international sport. He is creating a futuristic type of governance.

By all means - laugh at his hair, and that of inept Boris.

And anyone else outside our comfort zone...
