Spee Amazingly, the painting sold for $450 million.

Making it the most expensive work of art ever sold at auction.

Sixty years ago, it was also sold - for £45 in London.

Spee32HR This painting - one of about 20 remaining - by Da Vinci, will come to auction in November.

In private ownership, it is expected to sell for in excess of $100 million - although any figure is possible.

Painted around 1,500 - it depicts Jesus as the Saviour of the World.

Currently on tour - Hong Kong, London, NYC, San Francisco.
