hedda an example in an Observer editorial making a completely unsustainable claim & showing fixed blinkered thinking:

".. To cast this as a problem about rape plays into the myth that false and malicious rape allegations are rife and that the criminal justice system is loaded against accused rapists. Evidence suggests false allegations of rape are rare and.."

and there-in lies one large problem with the media.
Repeating mantras.
This was written in December before the current spate of cases where false claims were only uncovered by exceptionally good barristers and in one case..a highly ethical prosecutor.

The point is : we cannot know the full extent of false accusations and how many innocents have been jailed ..and the current cases demonstrate that only be sheer luck were these false cases exposed.

The Observer falsely pushes the notion that falsehoods will be exposed yet time & time again it is shown they won't be and it may take years for some to be exposed and it is generally been by dedicated hard work over years.

Meanwhile most people in jail will have absolutely no power or advocates to push their case.

JK2006 A very important question and let us examine it (and correct any problems) in 2018. My hope is - exposing police and CPS corruption and the False Allegations Industry is becoming a great story; and that is the main concern of all media.
