hedda his simplistic message is that basically he said everyone will get a pony and the Morons voted for him along with middle-of-the-road Republicans who were happy to coast in on his coat-tails.

For instance his blatant lie that he would replace "Obamacare" with something far far better where everyone would be insured for much less money.

An unbelievable lie, they bought it and more the fool them. That was one of a 1000 lies..and the "Deplorables" really are deplorable and brain dead morons.

The problem is that Trump was hated in New York as the cheap con-man he is...so far they have uncovered over 800 lawsuits against him in the last 20 years.

As multi-billionaire Michael Bloomberg ex-NY Mayor has said :no bank or financial institution would allow Trump through their doors for 20 years because he has ripped off so many...but those who live outside New York of course think New Yorkers are the "elite".

# One thing I have found over the decades is that people will be attracted to a blatant con-man and even admire what they do and think- he won't do it to me.

But then I'm prejudice because the C*NT owes me $3000 and my agent friend $45,000 when he ripped us off in 2007. We of course were small fry compared to 1000s of others.
JK2006 No I think Trump had a more simplistic message and simple works! Give 'em a nice easy slogan and they vote (especially the mentally retarded). Look at Brexit. Take back our country! Doh. But I felt Trump loved all the brand boost and hated actually having to be President; a very boring job with no power and little money.
steveimp It shows you just how bad the perception of Hillary Clinton was to the American people that Trump could win that election.

Notice I say perception!
JK2006 the one thing that rings very true in this new book is that Trump really didn't want to be President and was horrified when he won.
