Episode Three was less good; but still watchable. |

I read the book and enjoyed it a few years ago. How much of it is accurately researched and presented, I'm not sure, but much of the stuff about shady doings after the fall of the Eastern Bloc is pretty accurate.
A major point that occurred to me while reading was how it's often difficult to tell who is a gangster, who is a politician, who is a terrorist, who is a policeman and who is a businessman - and not just in the less developed world. Roles are fluid and people have feet in several camps (if they have more than two feet) and fingers in many pies. |

Thanks. It is apparently partially inspired by the book. |

Louis Wise gives a well written, funny and rather accurate review in today's Sunday Times. |
