JK2006 SPOILER ALERT... It was originally Kirsten the housekeeper (who was not Jack's mother in the book) - changed to Leo in this, played (very badly) by Bill Nighy.
JK2006 I was biased against this because of the stupid, dangerous and wicked decision to cut someone out of the show because he was falsely accused. Likewise removing Kevin Spacey from the Getty film (I'd love to see that but cannot bring myself to buy a ticket).

I don't think those (often wrongly) convicted should be dropped either, but that's another story (see Top of the Pops).

But the show was irritating anyway. Badly scripted, caricature acting, annoying direction.

Not a success. As a matter of interest, who killed Duckface in the Christie original? (Will Google and print below).
