Green Man I had to go to one of his shows, a few years ago. Never smiled or laughed once. At least the free ticket was a night out.

I did make up my mind walking home that all modern or new comedy and comedians are dire.

East Side Kids now that is great comedy.
robbiex I find him intensely irritating with his high pitched voice and skipping around, very annoying.
Barney Yes, it's a skill - but not entertainment

Helpful, say, in a job interview

It allows you to get your views/thoughts across

Closely related to self confidence

Won't make you laugh though

Or return to see it again

Absolute mediocrity

Good script writers, and stage presence

Shows how talentless people can earn money

Whilst fooling us all with a dated routine

Looking shocked at the camera, at his last line

Reminiscent of Tommy Cooper - sadly not as original, or funny...

Isn't stage presence a talent in itself?
hedda I'm a huge Michael McIntyre fan.

I just really like his personality and delivery.
