No it started with Band Aid which I thought was dodgy using "celebrities" and encouraging them to turn up and "sing" for half an hour and then pretend to deserve kudos for their huge generosity. Then Live Aid which was a lousy concert (bad sound balance) except for Queen and raised money for a badly organised charity (removing millions from existing, better run, more honest charities) whilst boosting careers in the guise of charity.

Nobody else was saying this. Bob, understandably, objected (though I never criticised his motives though I did feel selling his soul to Satan was an unwise decision). I like him as a person (intelligent, funny and quite musically talented - some super Brats songs). But blindly addicted to fame; a very dangerous drug.

And of course, Queen being so brilliant was a complete surprise.

honey!oh sugar sugar. Was the feud just because you didnt think much of Live Aid?
Silent Minority A single week in the charts peaking at a whopping 89!

Are we allowed to use the words talentless twat on this forum?
JK2006 Hmm the Sunday Times seems to be gunning for Saint Bob. Let's hope nobody starts looking at the accounts for Live Aid and Band Aid. Just after I slagged off this disorganised charity, I bumped into Bob and Paula sunning themselves besides the La Mamounia pool in Marrakech. Lovely hotel; I couldn't afford to stay there myself at that time; was just visiting for a meal. I suggested, since we were all on holiday, we should forget the feud for a while. Paula told Bob not to agree and turned her back on me (as she later did on him).
