Barney Ohio now has armed teachers, as well - albeit a designated one per school.

Most people say that gun carrying/protection is not a teacher's job.

And that being an educator, social worker, drug catcher and disciplinarian - is enough.

Similiar thoughts came to my mind while watching the old 1959 movie 'Jet Storm' a few days ago. Different weapon but the point is that it wasn't the bomb that was spiralling out of control. One of the passengers said at one stage: "If I don't do something soon, I'll explode". Fortunately, the remote control for the bomb wasn't near her at the time.

honey!oh sugar sugar. My teachers used to terrify us into submission armed with nothing more than a bit of chalk.
Barney Florida has just passed legislation for teachers to carry guns at work - in an effort to curtail mass shootings, and indiscriminate murder.

Other states are expected to follow suit, in the short term. Last year, 17 pupils were killed at a Florida school. All the teachers could do, was hide.
