JK2006 Nadal/Federer still should be a good watch though; two incredible sportsmen.
robbiex Novak is a great player, but so boring, like a robot. When he was at Eastbourne, I left halfway out of boredom. It is a case of same old same old at Wimbledon this year in the men's game, When are some new players going to come through. No one outside the big 4 has won wimbledon since 2002 (Leyton Hewitt). Also I would love to see Halep win the women's final. It would mean so much for the Romanian, and not that much for Serena, other than a bit more bling.
JK2006 Super interview with Sue Barker where he raves about Goran - my second favourite tennis player of all time (after Lendl). Novak spoke about the 2001 Goran victory - probably the only thing in that awful year (for me) that brought me joy - I'd supported him for years and his Wildcard win was so terrific as was his reaction on winning it. A fabulous player, now officially in the Novak court. So; bereft of all my picks this year - I root for Novak to win. And, of course, Serena who I've supported since a great interview she gave early in her career and convinced me she's "one of us".
