Labour seem reluctant to want a GE. Abbott gave some spiel about not wanting it on Boris terms.
I think the Beech saga could be worrying them.
You just know the (agenda-driven) and Corbyn hating media will be going for the Labour jugular as soon as a GE is announced.
It is a bit of a pickle.
I say boot Watson and anybody else who is a liability. |

Is Jeremy Corbyn unpopular though?
Seeing Labour under his leadership got such an historic huge vote just 2 years ago, I mean they didn't get it because Jeremy is "unpopular" surely?
And seeing little has changed with Labour (the exaggerated antisemitic campaign has fizzled out) won't those voters still vote for Labour? I cannot see why they won't.
One thing that is glaring: the largely right-wing media are the ones who demand Corbvyn be removed. Why? If they think he's such a disaster for Labour wouldn't they prefer he stayed?. Obviously they really fear he will win.
I'm still not sure though as I'm really pissed of with Britain's rediculous "first past the post" system having seen now how Australia's rigidly applied proportional representation and preferential voting gives he country very stable government that reflects the vast majority along with a powerful Upper House dominated by small parties who hold the balance of power and can nip in the bud the excesses of loonies.
# so you get people who vote for either left or right wing parties in the main House plumping for powerful parties like The Greens in the Senate so they will prevent either going haywire or extremist. |

From how it is going so far at least the chapter in his future book on British political leaders headed "Bojo" won't take him too long to write...
May amount to a footnote, in fact....

I didnt call him a buffoon, Barney. I am very well aware of his achievements. I, (actually I am quoting Leannne Best, who hit the nail on the head) called him a bigot DRESSED UP AS a buffoon. (clever move).
Corbyn might well be brilliantly clever, dignified and determined - but he is still a bloody horrible man and I am not alone in thinking so! 
But seriously, I am not impressed by the second referendum dressed up as an election.
