Many harp on about our justice system being the best in the world; but our courts frequently disagree, like today.
Those same courts continue to accept - and base their decisions - on fabricated evidence manufactured by police forces.
Instead of teasing the details, information and timings out carefully - to ensure that a fair judgement emanates, based on the facts.
By themselves, the Birmingham 6 and Guildford 4 cases showed this - and how easy it is to convict and imprison innocent people.
The problems are compounded further by the powerful force of collective emotion that can interfere with and overwhelm rational decision-making.

Yes one of my reasons for "Remaining" is that I cannot see why having the ECHR as the ultimate arbiter is any worse than the UK taking over UK decisions in Law - though this and my personal experience with a Judge last year made me rather impressed by British justice. |

The Scottish Supreme Court calls Boris Johnson's "misleading" the Queen - illegal. Just as HHJ Taylor found Surrey Police had "misled" the Court. And I showed one officer "misled" Magistrates when applying for Search Warrants. I call it lying. The Supreme Court calls it a crime. |
