Two possible reasons?

1) 2015 was the year that Operations Midland, Fernbridge, Athabasca and Cayacos (under the umbrella of Operation Fairbank) were in full swing. By October 2015, 19 people had been arrested by Operation Yewtree. With the government funding cuts dispute also underway, how much time and interest did Met officers have to focus on real crime?

2) She has an innocent and placid persona.

Jo What an awful story. I used to like reading Michael Winner's restaurant column and remember he often referred fondly to Geraldine. But how does this story relate to false accusers?
JK2006 False accusers are escalating their crimes, enabled and assisted by bent cops or corrupt lawyers (I still shudder at the hundreds of children who died thanks to Leeds Hospital not getting the millions that Jimmy Savile's trust paid to bent solicitors on behalf of lying fantasists).
