JK2006 And Phoenix thoroughly deserved the Best Actor award for Joker - the best film in many ways but nowhere near as enjoyable as Parasite. 1917 was also brilliant and the best thing about it was the Cinematography so another deserved award. GUILTY should have won Best Song for Keep Your Feet On The Ground but I was pleased for Elton (he needs an award more than I do).
JK2006 Of all the films this was the one I enjoyed the most and so, clearly, did the Academy. Plus I've become very comfortable with subtitled movies - for years now on BBC4 - my Saturday nights have been foreign languages for well over a decade now.
