Honey Bookworm, If I was you I would take Jo's advice and go along with what the experts recommend.
I do understand your feelings about the situation being caused by other people's failings, but what is important at the moment is getting you well again.
Put yourself first.
Bookworm I called Bullshit on it all Jo.
I didn't need a psychiatrist.

It was vile tactics being used against me because Police and officials were dropped in it. This was also acknowledged by the psychiatrist.

I was also assessed by a police assigned psychiatrist who acknowledged I had a lot of problems caused by idiots whilst I was trying to raise my kids alone. They also spoke to somebody official who knew some of it .

People stand to gain nothing by trying to claim to be an expert on my life.

I was told "Let people say what they want about you. They will pay for it though."
Names of people who have harmed me are in my medical notes.
Jo In my experience, it was a psychiatrist/psychiatric unit that gave me the help I needed and got me back on an even keel. In fact, got me feeling much better than I had in years. IMHO, I'd listen to your psychiatrist and let them help you.
Bookworm Interesting response Jo.

I was told to see a psychiatrist when I reported strange occurrences.
I went for the sake of fucking showing it up for what it is and I don't trust psychology because mind control plays a huge part in keeping people sick.

My own psychologist told me ( whilst sat in my home) how when they started their job, they felt somebody was messing with them through the media to the point it made her ill.

Now, their diagnosis of me was nothing other than a little bit eccentric.
Now, my concern is, did they go to the authorities about their own experience because if not, the only diagnosis I can conclude for them is: Useless c**t!

It's no wonder Diana ended up dead.

Why can people declared fit for voluntary work or community work and cleaning shop windows but not work?

As a single parent who has suffered immense pressure, I have to keep going.
Jo Edit: advising someone to stop driving might have to do with side-effects of medication. This is about the one I take:

4.7 Effects on ability to drive and use machines

No studies on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed. Because olanzapine may cause somnolence and dizziness, patients should be cautioned about operating machinery, including motor vehicles.

There's also this government guidance:

Psychiatric disorders: assessing fitness to drive

It lists various mental illnesses and for "acute psychotic disorder" says "Must not drive during acute illness and must notify the DVLA".
