Barney Even with a 2,600 mile border with China - Russia has less infections than Luxembourg!

Fast and decisive action by Putin - including the setting up of quarantine zones, two months ago - seems to have saved his country's 146 million inhabitants.

With only 283 infections - compared to 670 in Luxembourg, with a 680,000 population.

The dangers were quickly identified, and the lengthy border closed - without delay, during late January - whilst other nations were still analysing.
