Sheba I'd have caught up with the child, held her back and asked "May we come through, please?"

People move aside, child and father go through, people move back together.

If I hadn't managed to catch up with her before she tried to get through the gap (and she is only 6) I would have apologised, not filmed them and stuck it on Facebook.
wyot Admittedly I didn't see the video Honey. Just goes to show we can't rely on partial or media inflated narratives to make important judgmemts just like with Covi...

Oh my goodness I just can't help myself...! Make it stop someone!

Green Man Another "Karen" in society.

Well...the child repeatedly "asked them to move". It doesn't say in what manner but we don't know she wasn't polite. There is nothing in there to say she was rude or "barged" into them.

Children get excited by life, particularly when they have been cooped up for 7 weeks. What kind of cowardly, up tight miserable bastard would deliberately be "difficult" towards a 6 year old child trying to ride her bike, hurl abuse and kick the bike.

Hope the Police identify the sorry wanker and at the least shame him.

The video shows the child approaching down the middle of the path saying excuse me, and then went straight through the middle of them.
Her father made no attempt to stop her.

Social distancing wasnt possible with her in the middle of the path, even if the couple had instantly leaped out of the way, and indeed, the video also shows her riding right next to some other poor bugger on the path.

It simply is not acceptable for anyone to demand that somebody moves for them.
Some people are totally deaf, some cant hear very well, some cant react quickly for mental reasons, some (lots) for physical reasons, and some are simply enjoying a walk listening to something on earphones.
You cant assume that you have been heard.

You can see by their faces that the couple did not hear the child, and we can hear the father being immediately aggressive, instead of simply saying " I am terribly sorry, you obviously didn't hear her, are you ok?" like any normal person would.

Of course the man shouldn't have kicked the bike. It was not much of a kick though, more an expression of disgust. The bike was not damaged. The child wasn't even near the bike, so it was not a threat to the child.
The child, meanwhile, was crying on the floor ignored by her thuggish father.

Not quite as it was presented in the story.
