Little Sausage Barney It took a lot of work to get that justice..
Barney No demonstrations, no black dimension - but justice.

The policeman, Noor, got a dozen years in jail.

And the City of Minneapolis paid out about $20 million in damages.

People expect the current case to exceed both penalties.

Little Sausage That reminds me...

On July 15, 2017, Justine Ruszczyk, also known as Justine Damond, a 40-year-old Australian-American woman, was fatally shot by Mohamed Noor, a Somali-American Minneapolis Police Department officer, after she had called 9-1-1 to report the possible assault of a woman in an alley behind her house.

There were no en masse demonstrations or protests for this wrongful death.

All lives matter.
JK2006 Accountability; that's the much needed aspect of the George Floyd tragedy. We saw, on camera (or phone) a cop who clearly joined the police, as many do, in order to kill people legally, without accountability.

I've experienced it with Surrey Police. Several bent cops whose purpose in life was to kill people. With stress. Bullying. Cruelty.

Not the majority; indeed, a small minority; the bad apples in the barrel.

But a knee on the neck for 9 minutes is no more lethal than months of stress, questioning, bail, threats and media publicity; the weapons of UK police these days.

There are hundreds of innocent people in prison, near death, thousands of family members and friends, lives destroyed. Just as bad as a knee on the neck and a smug grin on the face of the bent cop, loving being able to kill someone legally (he thought - and without that smart phone he'd have gotten away with it; they "protect their own" - just watch Guilty).
