That we are actually living in a computer simulation (our Universe) is apparently taken seriously by a lot of philosophers and scientists.

Elon Musk is pouring money into identifying ways to break out of the simulation....

Recent apparantly insane events such as Trump, Brexit, Covid inconsistencies, Oscar night fiascos are down to the controllers losing the plot or having a laugh..
