This is my fave one from Wonderland at the moment: what is a "substantial meal"?

This Housing Minister says that if a pub served a pasty and beer this may get them into trouble, but explains that if they serve the pasty with a lettuce leaf this is a "normal meal".

He then cheerily announces that this should "clear things up!"

With rules as definite as this, publicans will need a very long list indeed..

Well, at least after you have ordered one "normal meal" you can sit in the pub all afternoon and evening getting pissed....

They must think people will squeal with delight because they are "given" a pasty and a lager instead of wondering how the pasty keeps us safer than if we went hungry?
Actually, they are probably right!

Why do the government think I am in danger swimming in my own lane in a pool full of bleachy water, not having to go near anyone, but they think I am perfectly safe being breathed on by someone doing my nails or hair in a small room?

It's all about fear and control.

Behind Boris Johnson's buffoonish, gregarious behaviour and chubby face hide's a sinister and dangerous man.

I was in a Hampshire shopping centre yesterday. My partner and I were walking on the "wrong side" because we like window shopping; we were also getting ideas for Christmas.

Then 2 tall beefed up security guards lectured us about the walking on the "correct side" a quick "Fuck off" from me got rid off the guards.

Nothing more was said or done, we just carried on shopping. Looks like window shopping is no longer allowed.

I have seen the Covid Marshalls - if you're stopped say you're homeless. They can't fine someone who has no money or address.
Wyot They don't Honey.

Once a Government makes the mistake of thinking it can control an air borne virus, all manner of absurdities will follow...
