Honey If they don't want to be royal you cant force them to be.

The Queen gave them their titles as a wedding present, so it would be dreadful to take them back.

I don't know why they are still using the titles in America. It seems rude, but you cant just order people to shut up.

I would like to know about Harry's therapy, however, because in a year he has gone from being traumatised by a camera click to jumping in front at every opportunity.

I cant imagine why they think we need them to preach at us, but if it makes them happy, let them. We don't have to watch it.

They may be ostracised by a few Royalists here (who cares?) but the world (read US) loves a vapid celebrity couple. And an actual Prince man!

They will be squillionaires!

But I don't believe the Royal Family itself will survive relatively much longer; which will be a (another) nail in our national coffin.
middlemas Broken so many royal protocols. Commenting on politicians and other issues in America.

On an almost daily basis, telling us their thoughts - and wearing provocative badges at interviews. Deliberately.

Soon their status, titles and connections will disappear; the first couple to commercially exploit the monarchy will be ostracised.

Although our former King (Edward VIII) tried something similar, with another US divorcee.

But little media coverage helped his plans then. Mrs Simpson just brought him to her parties (like Meg does) to show him off.
