I do agree Honey that focusing on one possible cause of blood clotting alone makes no sense. But that is Covid isn't it? Every other way of dying is now less important. It won't surprise you to learn that I also seems daft to me to worry about the actual danger from covid given the tiny percentage killed by it, as the dangers from smoking, lack of exercise & poor diet are greater.

We are going by figures collected while people are locked up/hiding away/separated by ropes, arrows on the floor, and masks/ generally being careful.

I don't know how many it would kill in normal circumstances with everyone leading normal lives, but obviously a lot more, and yes, opportunities for better health must be made available for all.

Wyot Yes my understanding is it is middle aged females who (if they are) are at more risk; albeit a risk not worth worrying about as a pootle around the M25 is far more likely to do harm, and then not very likely. Oh we have got ourselves in such a collective tizz about it all haven't we!
JK2006 Correct me if I'm wrong - the blood clot problems were only amongst younger females who are hardly affected by Covid anyway (despite media hype) so those who know reckon the risk is not worth taking for those under 60 whereas the benefits far outweigh any risks for the over 60s.

Just more proof that the reality of Covid is far different from the media hype. Under 60s do not need protecting. It's a trivial virus to most of them (except fatties and smokers).
