Green Man When I'd employed bar staff most of them were fresh out off university, with fancy degrees and letters after their names.

When we wer3 interviewing them I used to bring this up a lot. "You have PhD or a Masters degree, why do you want to work behind a bar or be a cleaner?"

There answers were things like "I can't get a job with my degree" or that "Oh, I always wanted to work in a pub."

My favourite answer was "Basically, I need to pay off my student debts but I am fully flexible with hours."
