Glen Absolutely agree, great television. Thought the Dutch detective was superb too! Can't wait for the 2nd part.

I also started watching Monk after many postings on this site prompted me too - and it's superb!! You're all right about that!!
JK2006 that strange Dutch detective could be the new Van Der Valk... give him his own series (and bring back the original theme).
Mind you, since I am still glued to Prison Break, I watched that and taped the Commander last half hour and watched it later.
