KC You mean we no longer have the right to endanger the lives of our neighbours? That is shocking!!!
In The Know The ban is for the UK - but does not include the Housses of Parliament !
Al I welcome the decision. Smoking is seriously anti-social. This is one occasion where health and common sense have been considered more important than money.
Peter I am a smoker and I fully support the ban.

Those smokers that whinge about their "right" are adicts in severe denial.
Martin K As a 20+ a day smoking couple, we are quite happy smoking outside any restuarant,but the not smoking outside thing, could prove an issue.
I am not to bothered though,personally, I gave up for 13 years before and can do it again.
The main point is though....Has the government worked out where the extra customs and excsise revenue will come from?
