Topic History of: Eurovision; had lunch with my Eurofan friends Pete and Paul and we agree - it's the best standard of entries since 2000

mikemacca In their infinite wisdom, the Beeb have only just informed the journalists as to who is accredited and who isn't. People who have been going for years have just been told by e-mail that they aren't being accredited. Bear in mind they've already booked hotels and flights (you can't do that at the last minute as they're all gone!).

These people applied last year, why do the Beeb have to leave it so late ? Dozens of people are now hundreds of pounds out of pocket often at the expense of some "pretend journalist" writing a column for their local freebie rag. Thankfully I go with German TV and my friend goes with Macedonian TV.
Robbiex Hi,
I love Daz's song, but I haven't heard it once on either radio 1 or radio 2 and it's not on their playlist, so unless it does really well in Eurovision I doubt that it will chart very highly.
JK2006 We also agreed that the UK event in 1998 was the best Eurovision ever.

Anyway, have a listen to all the entrants.
P&P go for Germany.
I reckon Romania or Russia and have fingers crossed for Daz.
Chris (Euronet) goes for Daz.
Which do you rate?
