Timmy always hated the murdoch emprie, too big for fairness, glad to see it brought down, although he'll probably get away with most of it...
veritas John Hartigan has resigned as boss of News Ltd in Australia-he's been there 40 years.

This is entirely unconnected to a current media enquiry and a current court case that has seen Rupert's beloved Australian newspaper 'bargaining' with Federal Police over terrorism raids in 2009 when news of the raids appeared in early editions 3 hours before they happened.

(entirely co-incidental to this was that early editions appear at airports and are snapped up the largely Arab born taxi drivers-who would be no relation to the Arab born 'terrorist' suspects arrested)

For the last two years News Ltd has waged a war against the Victorian Police Commissioner (an honest one) because he was outraged that News Ltd had potentially put so many lives at risk...they got his scalp in the end.
