I’m a big fan of Beaujolais. Not so much the basic stuff, but Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin-a-Vent Beaujolais Villages etc. Prices have been steadily rising, but last week I saw Tesco had the BV on offer. It worked out at £4-88 a bottle for a case of 12 delivered. It’s been around £6-99 for the past year, so some prices are coming down! (So less coffee, more wine from now on). |

You're so right Pru. Sadly, tragic events like those described tend to be ignored and replaced by worries over lesser problems like death and injustice. We are here to redress the balance. |

I wasn't taking the economic depression seriously until now, but this mini-Dickensian tale of coffee depravation has touched my heart. I'm off to protest outside of St Paul's. |
