dixie I’m a big fan of Beaujolais. Not so much the basic stuff, but Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin-a-Vent Beaujolais Villages etc. Prices have been steadily rising, but last week I saw Tesco had the BV on offer. It worked out at £4-88 a bottle for a case of 12 delivered. It’s been around £6-99 for the past year, so some prices are coming down! (So less coffee, more wine from now on).
Prunella Minge And don't get me started about the price of Pouilly Fume.
JK2006 You're so right Pru. Sadly, tragic events like those described tend to be ignored and replaced by worries over lesser problems like death and injustice. We are here to redress the balance.
Prunella Minge I wasn't taking the economic depression seriously until now, but this mini-Dickensian tale of coffee depravation has touched my heart. I'm off to protest outside of St Paul's.
The Fat Controller Brazilian Santos gets my vote. I drink buckets of coffee, which is most unrefined, I should really try using a cup.
