Bistoneth Perch I've just been listening to the 1971 Glastonbury tapes, well the mp3s. The actual tapes proved to be in good condition and are with the original sound engineer who recorded the 1971 Glasto in the guise of Geronimo Starship (from the ashes of Radio Geronimo). Never been bootlegged, and I am sworn to not distributing anything. There is an 18 minute recording of the Windfuckers at Glasto 1971. Tantalising isn't it?
MCR en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Crimble

Thomas Crimble (born 18 June 1947 Staines, Middlesex, England) is a musician who played with Skin Alley and Hawkwind before becoming a central part of the organisation of the Glastonbury Festival from the 1971 Free festival until 1999. Subsequently becoming involved in Nik Turner's alternative Hawkwind project Space Ritual.

During his time with the festival he formed the festival farm house band, The Worthy Farm Windfuckers, who played on the original iconic Pyramid stage with Johnny Hodge & 'English' John Fox.
JK2006 Can anybody else remember this outfit? I rather doubt if they could exist in 2016 but they certainly did in the 1970s - I seem to remember appearing on the Pyramid Stage. But as one ages ones mind wanders, memories change and, of course, the censors kick in!
