Shay There's an interesting story in Eric's book that I hadn't known about at all. He says he was summoned to Manchester for a meeting with the other three band members and their manager, and was told that the other three were continuing 10cc without him. Cue him staggering out of the room in a state of bewilderment. Then a couple of weeks later, the manager got back in touch to say there'd been some confusion, and Godley and Creme wanted to leave 10cc completely, and didn't want to work with Gouldman. So after being persuaded that it made commercial sense to continue as 10cc, Stewart reluctantly resumed working with Gouldman, while never forgetting that he'd been ready to dump him from the band. I guess that explains the deep-rooted antipathy.

Any plans for the book to be reprinted.
JK2006 Exactly right; I was about 16 or 17 and went to Manchester to persuade Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders I'd be a great manager. It was how I first got to meet Eric. We've been friends ever since. Of course I was Kenneth then and didn't regard this as worth mentioning in 65 My Life So Far. I might cover it in 75 FFFY!
