Black Eyed Peas come on shouting Whatsup London! wrong city Will. There are other cities in the uk.

David Beckham comes on saying Manchester was his home for many years (No it wasn't David, you lived in Alderley Edge in Leafy affluent Cheshire).

Good Concert so far, although some acts look a little unprepared turning up in Jeans and a sweatshop Ariana. Little Mix didn't disappoint, turning up in typical sluttish gear.

Take That followed by Robbie Williams, you think that they could have performed together.

I don't know why we need to raise money for the victims. Money isn't what they need. Most of them probably come from middle-class families who can afford to let their kids go to an Ariana Grande concert at £70+ a ticket.

Manchester is the nearest city to Aderley Edge, and it is only fifteen miles away.

I think the sweatshirts were to hide the bulletproof vests.

Slow service in updating this post jk.

Coldplay a little out of place at this gig. They are a band for middle-aged people trying to be trendy. Not even a proper band, who knows any other members other than Chris Martin.

Have to agree when Parachutes came out when I was about 15 or so my Dad ran out and got same with any White Stripes album. I knew then I don't need to follow them. What ever happened to Travis ?

The benefit gig smelt of effort and more ego boost for these pop stars. Chris Martin will do anything for good publicity and is very touchy according to friends, then calls you a 'Cunt'.

Beckham is common as muck he went to the same primary school as my brother. He is a mummy's boy also you left Manchester for Spain then turned down Premier League clubs for MLS.
PaulB The line up didn't tempt me, but I suspect it was more aimed at the 'yoof'.

Not convinced by Robbie William's emotions a couple of days ago but, even if most of the music was kinda naff, it's good to see people happy and united during a difficult time.
JK2006 Excuse me Robbie - will you ease up on me? No yellow food... slow updates... goodness me, what's a girl to do? I have to admit I avoided watching the concert; live acts are 95% of the time a disappointment; apart from Bruce, naturally.
