JK2006 Some interesting facts in Popbitch this week; sadly illustrating that after the British music industry destroyed the chart as a significant promotional asset (by hyping it and wrecking Top of the Pops) they ruined the last vestige it had (the Christmas No1). As I warned Alex Day in 2011 - this was the last chance to get a hit this way.
