JK2006	And frighteningly only ONE hit really grabbed me this year - Rise from Jonas Blue.
JK2006	Watching the seasonal roundup on Christmas Day (earlier than it was; rightly, the BBC is aware nobody cares about music anymore) I realised I didn't know 95% of the year's biggest hits. Boring Old Fart? No; the hits are not as mass appeal as they used to be. Specialist sounds aimed at tiny audiences - with a few notable exceptions (Ed Sheeran). And simply not very good. Unoriginal. Obvious. Dull. Second rate.
