I cannot eat another motorway burger. I feel so unhealthy. I also can`t face those awful trendy ciabatta`s with fillings that taste like rubber, and are served below freezing point.
I would love to think of a highlight in food this weekend, but I can only come up with a breakfast this morning, of black pudding and bacon near a canal in Cheshire.
Does anyone else get that " I need salad and I need it now" feeling?
A good friend of mine has just gone onto a raw food diet, I did tell him that I am rather partial to steak tartare, but he informed me that you can only do it if you are vegan.

mmmmm. Black pudding.

Trying to explian "pudding" to our cousins accross the pond... the final blow to spiral from confusion to horror should be black pudding.

Your raw food friend should not be fascist about raw food, the idea that you can "only do it if..." Blimey! Raw food is er... raw?

Give him raw black pudding

On QI they asked what was the nastiest food they'd ever eaten. McDonalds came immediately to mind. I have sympathy with your present food plight.

The worst bit about take out burgers, is not actually the meat, it`s that horrible sugary bun they enclose it in.
It`s nice to find another black pudding eater. Have you noticed the way that you have to be careful as some of them are encased in black plastic and not skin?
Quite a disaster when you fry it. White pudding is horrible though, I tried it once only.

Haggis bits are put in the sheeps stomach - seems a bit mean, stuffing the animal into its own self to eat it.

Anyhow the stomach bit is called a "pluck".

How sad it is that I know such a thing.

I have done all these wonderful food posts for you, and the one that is becoming the longest food thread, started out about as how bad food can be!
Thats it! I will now become a vegetarian. (and eat the occasional daily steak , bacon and lobster)
