they find out its a baseball star in his own plane that hit the building.now heres what bothers me.it crashed on the hudson river.the world trade centre was on the hudson river.the reason it took so long to find out what happened is because nobody has to register that they are flying over manhatten.in fact here in USA you don't have to tell anyone where you are flying,you just go and us mere mortals can't take shampoo on a plane.
