Mark Williams-Thomas & that odd, but timely, bogus Gary Glitter Twitter Account 11 Years, 3 Months ago
Way in the pre-Yewtree midsts of time - January 2012 - there appeared on Twitter what was supposedly a random mischief account - someone purporting to be Gary Glitter and baiting everyone with talk of a 'comeback'. Strangely enough, this coincided with BBC4 being brave enough to repeat the Top Of The Pops of 1977 with Gary Glitter intact - they 'have no place re-writing history', remember?
No great surprise that Mark John-Thomas decided to use this Twitter mischief to publicise his "child protection" endeavour
Listen as the Paedofinder General describes basic humanity as "chilling", condones 'Twitter Abuse' and suggests a washed-up Glam Rocker is public enemy #1.
Of course, in January 2012 Tosspot was busy concocting his "Savile Exposure" with Meirion Jones - so it should come as no surprise that, the dead Jimmy Savile aside, his first targets were Top Of The Pops and the man now also known as 'Yewtree 1'
It makes me wonder if WT Associates and/or Jones, Slater & Gordon etc were behind the January 2012 "Official Gary Glitter" twitter account.

Another BBC report, uploaded to YouTube on 1 February 2012, about discoveries of other blatantly pro-child-abuse Twitter accounts, shown with tweets from December 2011/January 2012, one (2:36) with just 69 tweets; but they would surely have to be genuine if reported to the police and not just the BBC.
