Either Rolf's jurors or the media coverage is/are illiterate... 11 Years ago
They keep referring to the "voracity" of witnesses - a quite different thing to any "veracity". Or is it being suggested that Rolf's victims attempted to eat him? Or just his bank balance? Are we living in Cloud Cuckoo Land? Or is it Wonderland? You really should listen to the lyrics of SMT/SLT's song.

And actually all the questions indicate the jury should be locked up in Broadmoor for ever; they are clearly incapable of any sensible thinking, like most juries. Democracy doesn't work, neither do juries, judges are becoming worse and worse, politicians are brain dead, government has gone pear shaped. Thank heavens we've got the media to keep us on the straight and narrow... NOT!

I thought the claim that he "aggressively assaulted" a child in a public community centre that he would never have performed in would be laughed out of court.
And as for "touching somebody's bottom" it is beyond ludicrous. What is wrong with these people?

People are too frightened to form their own opinions, lest they get labelled paedo supporters themselves. Far too many believe the "no smoke without fire" maxim.

true enough. it's easier just to go along with the mob, especially if the victim of the witchhunt wasn't terribly popular to begin with (eg. Savile/ Glitter/ Clifford).
As I have found out personally, failing to speak ill of such people, once the ball is rolling, will just invite hostile responses from emotionally-invested proles.

The truth of the matter is that we are, to all intents and purposes, in the midst of a civil war. All the dirty tricks of war are being used, and furthermore at least a quarter of the population have been so brainwashed as to render them unconscious.
I aren't that old, nor am I 'privileged', but I grew up in a liberal, intelligent society where people were encouraged to both have fun and grow up. I now find myself in a puritanical hell stuffed to the gills with idiotic medieval peasants - and this has all happened in the past 15 years.
These are interesting times for sure - but highly frustrating and distressing for anyone with both conscience and a mind of their own.

Totally agree with you Chris...
Me too. One only has to take the briefest of strolls around any discussion board to identify the problem. Simplistic views presented by people who've made up their minds about something then cast about to find evidence to support them... which usually takes the form of repeating parrot-fashion a tabloid misrepresentation as if it were a self evident truth. The question of Europe is a prime example {get out and all our problem are solved}, as is the case here. The papers, the news channels, the radio... all carry the same implicit message; "Rolf Harris is guilty". It's the same with Savile. No question of his guilt, and the idiots have really gone to town. A paedo who preys on 75 year olds. All swallowed whole by a nation driven by the idea that everything is simple, and everyone is either one thing or another. You couldn't make it up.
