Halloween Food Post 17 Years, 6 Months ago
I was going to write about this last week, but I didn`t see how to get to the punchline, as it is, and courtesy of the BBC news team, there is one.
We were driving up to the north, and were stuck behind a car, towing a trailer, with two bizzare very orange articles on it. I assumed they were bundles of roof lagging, until we finally passed the car, and drivers.
They were in fact, the two biggest pumpkins I had ever seen in my life, definetely genuine, and completly covered in the contents of the field in which they had been grown.
These two orange beasties, combined were the size of a Smart car.
This morning, prior to breakfast, they were featured on the news, as they had been scooped out, and were about to have engines put in them for sailing in! The same guys that were in the car, were proudly presenting them.
Pumpkin soup anyone? Not me, I hate it, but I think there is rather a large amount of it near Southampton.

I have to admit to loving pumpkin pie and fully intend to go and get some now!

For night clubs and pubs, it will be today the 28th, but it is technically the 31st. Allways a good time of year for all bands to make sure the encore is the Time Warp, which is why I learnt it, originally. I imagine it must peak PRS wise at this time of year too, as it is THE Halloween song, closely followed by Bat Out of Hell, tonight is the equivalent of New Years Eve for Meat Loaf impersonators,of which in the UK there are six professional ones, although only one is official.
I was actually offered the part of Riff Raff in a Rocky Horror show production(which was quite rightly pulled as unofficial which I did not know at the time), I was quite pleased actually, as the sheduled tour was horrendous.I was then later asked to fix the musicians in a production of it, and that was pulled for the same reason. How very ironic, that it had never occured to me to contact the bloke who was involved in it from the beginning? And I must confess, I did not even know!
A lesson for all there you know, if you have a question about music, readers, ask JK, he is a genuine walking encyclopedia about it.
