It must have been the letter Harris wrote to the father of his daughter's friend, and the pictures found on his computer that swayed the jury into convicting him. There's no doubt that he finds teenagers (below the age 16) arousing and even kept instructions in his diary on how to delete the browsing history on his computer.
Amanda Platell has also
written about her friendship with Harris, and relates how he confided in her - in tears - that his daughter wouldn't let him see his grandchild. What had happened there I wonder?
On the subject of the internet, there is a video clip of Savile being interviewed in which he says he refuses to have the internet in his flat for fear of inviting trouble. Why would a national treasure (at least many thought he was at the time) be scared of being framed for looking at indecent images?
