I remember Geoffrey Dickens well- he was nasty far right wing homophobe who wanted to bring back hanging.
He was regularly claiming he had dossiers of errant powerful people and 'pedo rings' but never produced proof. He was an active exponent of Satanic Abuse who claimed 100s of children were being sacrificed.

He had few pals at Westminster- Tories disliked him not because he was a loon but a nasty one at that. He hated what he thought were the upper class of privileged Tories but I recall one saying it was like being insulted by an Arthur Daley type.

no inquiry will ever satisfy the media or their followers who want more and more Saviles & Harris'...although of course the ignorant Dickens never mentioned them.
